Senior Manager – Taxation

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Manager for Taxation (Direct Tax & Indirect Tax) to lead our taxation team. He/She will be responsible for managing the company's direct and indirect tax functions. This role requires strong financial acumen, leadership skills, and the ability to drive process improvements. Key Responsibilities

• Tax Planning for the organisation.
• Keeping the organisation aware of the implications of various direct and indirect tax laws on business decisions.
• Dealing with tax authorities.
• Drafting reply to notices received from tax authorities.
• Working with external resources for advice and resolutions.
• Tax compliance - computations, deposit, returns & assessments, appeals for both direct and indirect taxations.
• Tax Audit, certification for Transfer Pricing.
• Tax Deductions at Source (TDS) - deduction, deposit, returns & assessments & appeals.
• Any Other related matter.

• Proficiency in treasury management principles and practices.
• Strong understanding of accounts receivable processes and systems.
• Ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to think strategically and provide insights to support business growth and profitability.
• Proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement and driving change.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google sheets.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

• Qualified Chartered Accountant / LLB with 4-5 years post qualification experience in handling litigations or Semi Qualified CA with 9-10 years experience, preferably in the internet or technology industry + Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
